  2. Hello Mad Max. Thanks for your thoughts on this. But in fact, the album is called Trooper too, the same as their first album from 1975.

As you can see here on Discogs: http://www.discogs.com/viewimages?release=2078616

The pictures show it clearly that the album is not called Untitled, there's just no name on it and all albums that has no name on it, just the band name, is what we called self titled, in this case Trooper (1980) :)

  3. Your work was amazing, but in this topic you are really confused.
In proper words of the Band site ....

In 1980 Trooper released their "untitled" album. Singles "The Real Canadians" and "Are You Still My Baby" received airplay but sales were disappointing. Money Talks was released in 1982 and "Only a Fool" was the single.

  4. Hello Max. Thanks for this info, and I do understand your point, believe me.

But the bottom line is, if the band wanted the album called Untitled they should have named it like that, because in the original LP there's no Untitled anywehere. Even years later when the album was released in CD in Japan (usually bands `correct` this kind of info in CD re-issues) the album is still named Trooper, not Untitled: https://rateyourmusic.com/release/album/trooper/trooper_f2/

Also Trooper, not Untitled, on the 8 Track: https://rateyourmusic.com/release/album/trooper/trooper_f4/

Thing is, fans and even the band, will refer to this album as Untitled to no make confusion with the first album, but truth is, the name of the album is also Trooper :)

For instance, the 1971 Led Zeppelin album, the whole world, including the band, call this album IV, but the truth is, the name of the album is Led Zeppelin, just like their first one (http://i.imgur.com/u5Qk4Uv.jpg)

    Best regards Max :)
